I'm running Ubuntu-Server 6.10 (Dapper Drake Prerelease) with an X2 processor , 64 bit, no problems once I got it installed.

There are a lot of nice touches in a Tyan barebones kit: PCI and PCI-E riser cards, full documentation including an engineering manual, and a *very* high quality all copper CPU heatsink.
