comments: the product works fantastic.pros: affordable, 4 extra usb ports for your computer, no software required.cons: none.it was great to open the case, install it, and then boot up the computer from Newegg.com it should get interesting when i have a memory card reader, usb network adapter, and a external hdd all hooked up to it. from Newegg.com comments: slapped it right in, no problems, windows xp found the drivers right away and my ipod can download songs in a flash now! from Newegg.com it was cheep and was what i needed (i use 8 usb ports)cons: windows did not have the proper driver for this card. from Newegg.com i took it out and it still gave me the bsod i had to buy a new hard drive reinstall widows the go into my old hdd and edit some of the files to get it to work. from Newegg.com i tried many items, including mouse, webcam, flash drive, wireless network adapter, camera, and printer. from Newegg.com i installed the other one in an old pentium 133 box with windows 98 se. from Newegg.com after i restarted xp thinking it would need just a restart, the thing froze my windows when it was booting.other thoughts: rmaing it would cost probably half of what i paid for it. from Newegg.com comments: tried installing on optiplex gx-1 running windows 98se - it says it installs, but it never shows up in device manager. from Newegg.com pros: works well with windows xp. from Newegg.com
