I bought this for my dell inspiron laptop which didn't have USB2. This card have never been recognized at all. from Tigerdirect.com I bought this for my dell inspiron 4150 laptop which doesn't have a USB 2.0. When I inserted this card and rebooted my computer, my inspiron was stopped during recognition of this card. from Mwave.com Great dual power option which allows for this to be used on even an older laptop with no usb ports to piggyback for higher power drain devices. Very easy setup and install and price in comparison to others is great. from Mwave.com I've used other Zonet products with the same success. Plug it in, let your computer connect to the internet for the latest drivers and you are up and running. from Mwave.com When I try to run both the 2200 and my PCI wireless network card it hangs my laptop when the wireless network card goes active. Once i pluged in a usb 2.0 jump drive, it locks up the systems. I exchanged an item with Zonet, it does *exactly* the same thing. Talked to the Zonet Tech support, he couldn't help and admitted it may not work with all computers. from Newegg.com Comments: Don't buy this device if you intend to use it with a self powered external hard drive.
