Tried several USB flash drives, CF reader, and portable HD. None worked. Tried multiple drivers from CD and D-Link, with no success. Also, does not provide enough power to WD Passport portable HD. from Newegg.com After installing this, my ethernet port stopped working. I could not fix it. Note that there were two versions of the DUB-C2 made, and the revision A1 was more or less abandoned by D-Link with horrible drivers and very poor compatibility. The revision A2, however, is still supported with drivers as recent as May 2005. from Amazon.com Comments: Using it for wi-fi right now, will test with a portible DVD/CD-ROM in a couple of days. Only hitch was that after installing the drivers and rebooting, WinXP installed it as a USB 1/1.1 device. Hint--if you look under device manager at your USB devices, if you don't see "D-Link DUB-C2 USB 2.0 2-port CardBus" you'll need to update the drivers manually. Newegg service was excellent as always. from Newegg.com Comments: The D-Link PCMCIA card slid right into my IBM Thinkpad T30 and worked like a champ on XP.
