Best Scanners for Picture

it's impressive to be more than capable of scanning quietly and quickly (with an excellent result--the picture quality is on par with the more expensive scanners) using nothing more than the juice

the only complaint i have is that it was hard to figure out how to save the photos i'd scanned in to my picture file.

the picture quality isn't too bad with this scanner.

does a good job of scanning pictures, or whatever is put on it.

i am very pleased with the scanner and the pictures i have made from the scanning have been wonderful....very clear and good color.

you can scan more than 1 photo at a time and it does recognize that they are different pictures.

the pictures came out crystal clear and we scanned about 13 drawings in about 10 minutes...we only used the 400 dpi setting and it did an awesome job!

needless to say, the old scanner lacked behind on speed, quality of picture, and compatibility with other programs.

it still worked after seven years of use, however, it was slow to scan a picture, usually fifteen to twenty minutes.

i bought this scanner to use on the road to scan pictures and genealogy files.

before i would often put as many pictures on the platen as would fit and them manually crop them into individual files.

crisp clean pictures, multi cropping, the back matt shows up as white; unlike my old scanner, white always showed up as a tinged blue color.

it was easy to set up and i have scanned several types of documents and pictures and even tried scanning the slides.

i bought this scanner with the intention of bringing my old 4x6 pictures into the digital world.

i had an hp multisystem machine which i always struggled to scan pictures.

scan it, shred it, make sure i've got a scheduled backup.the unit itself looks very sharp, the pictures don't do it justice.
