Best Scanners for Art

christmas i decided to publish one of her books on one of the sites that does it rather cheaply...(blurb) the problem is that i needed a way to scan her drawings so i could add them to the text.

it has scanned old slides, old color negatives, drawings, photos and everything has come out in a high resolution digital format.

i'm using this with photoshop and indesign to make personal studies for portrait drawing practice, using art book and magazine images for source material.

i want a very good digital version, but i am not worried about art quality.

if all you're doing is scanning sketches, drawings and things of that sort, it can't be beat for 50 something bucks.

mostly been scanning documents to convert to pdf, but also to make digital copies of cd labels for mp3 cover art.

it's able to scan my pencil drawings without glare on the pencil.

i really needed something that would work well and be 'state-of-the-art' in the quality of scanning.

i am currently a high school student planning on going to college for a fine arts major, and i have to say that these pens are incredible especially for the price.

i'm not sure why but it makes a photo look like it was painted on canvas.
