Best Scanners for OverallOld

i am presently using this scanner for two large projects...it is very easy to operate...the pictures are coming out clear...i have only used the automatic mode so far but have no reason to believe

overall a great value and a great product.

the only reason you would need anything higher was if you were going to create an image larger than 13" x 19", in other words, you could scan a photo, and enlarge it for frame use as large as 13" x

it performs well and flawlessly enacts every facet of its capabilities such as scanning slides or large documents in addition to photos of course.

it was inside of another box, but there was no padding inside of the larger box so it bounced around all over the place before getting to me.

when closed up it's compact enough to stick in a corner of the desk but extended trays take up more space naturally.

there is a fairly broad array of options for scanning text and images.

it's bulkier and heavier than my 5110, uses a larger power supply (with no light).

the other settings i've tried (scanning all at once, batch ocr later) just doesn't give me the same results.overall though, these are really minor issues.

the led is far superior and overall operation is much smoother

considering the $600+ cost of the scanner and the large number of them still in use, i feel that this shows the sorry state of hp's customer support.

overall a very good product for home users.

overall: for a general use scanner, i really doubt you could beat this one.

pretty good scanner, easy to operate, light as a feather, thin as a large book.

overall, good cheap scanner.
