I'm a CPA. I looked at the Xerox 252 and other scanners. I was concerned this scanner would be too slow. from Amazon.com I actually thought I was smart when I checked the Xerox site to see if the product was Vista compatible before purchasing. Sure enough, they had a driver update box which included a selection for Vista and English. from Amazon.com Our office just went paperless and we have been relying on this machine with no problems so far. The software is very good and should let most people do everything they need to. Xerox support is excellent if you need to ask any questions. Also the price is right on this machine. from Amazon.com I literally have boxes of papers and magazines I've been waiting to scan, but have never been able to find a quality, affordable scanner. For all the good things about this scanner, be sure to read the PC Magazine review (July 2006). Here, I wanted to mention a few downsides that were not evident from the Xerox product specifications or the PC Mag review. 1) Pages per Minute - the Xerox specs state 15 pages per minute for color duplex (both sides) scan at 150 dpi. from Amazon.com I literally have boxes of papers and magazines I've been waiting to scan, but have never been able to find a quality, affordable scanner.
