I had a canon scanner for 5 years that came with my Gateway computer and used it a lot successfully so I wanted another Canon and checked the scanners available that were compatible with my new computer Compaq with Vista and found the Canoscan LIDE 200 that works great although I had to learn the different ways to use it.
