The store charge my credit card and shows the product ready in inventory and it didn't have it. The store made the money back but I lost time and trust in it. from Amazon.com I had a HP scanner, which, as a number of reviewers have said, started getting paper jams about three months after I bought it. It is now not working at all. I bought the Fujitsu, and it is infinitely faster. It hasn't jammed in the past month, but with the clamshell design, it will be easy to clear if it does. from Amazon.com I had purchased 3 HP scanners at different times, the lastest was a 5500, all of which were insufferably incompentent and a complete waste of time and money. I bought it to substitute another scanner that was 4 times the price of this one. I have to say that this model still does the same job as the more expensive one and at a comparable speed (I only use black/white scanning) with the only backdrawn being it does not have a flatbed. So, if flatbed is not your necessity, I highly reccomend the Fujitsu FI-5120C scanner. from Amazon.com I purchased this scanner to scan documents for my home business. I found that most personal scanners were too slow for this purpose. The FI-5120C is very fast however I found that the feeder would not feed pages in straight every time. The software can correct for this but its not ideal. from Amazon.com Worth every penny!!! Always wanted to have my own imaged document archive since the dawn of scanning many, many years ago. Slowly would add to my scanned files, eventually over the years had about several thousand that got to PDF format, but the time involved was huge as I was using a flatbed and at 600 dpi only got about a dozen scans an hour.
