what's great about it:?being able to listen to your favorite sports games and fox news anywhere!
i would highly recommend the sportser 5!!
i love that you can change the backlights to go with my cars interior light, i also love the sports ticker...
the sports ticker is excellent and does not take up any memorized slots like it did on the starmate.
i love the display, the number of presettings, the way it will track your favorite sports teams.
it can flash sports scores also.
its an upgrade from sporters r.
100% commercial-free music from every genre, plus sports, news, talk and comedy — all with crystal-clear, coast-to-coast coverage, all in one place and all at your fingertips.
my husband had to exchange sirius for xm since sirius does not offer a mlb network.
the sportser 5 has the right balance of features and simplicity.
there's also sports alert that will notify you when one of your favorite teams are playing (selectable in a menu) and the score will display even when you're listening to a music channel.
if you love the outdoors and still want to listen to sports, music, etc.
great for sports fans!!
the sounds quality is awesome and working outside and listening to any nfl game is big!2.
the sports ticker is very cool but it doesn't provide much information besides the score.
most (maybe all) of the sports channels, however, are not available over an internet connection and require satellite signal to receive.
the radio was a big hit much easier to control than the previous version and it lets you personalize some ticker type information (stocks, sports scores) so you're always updated.
it has some awesome features, such as the long 60 minute playback, the ability to display what's playing on other stations, the favorite song/artist/sports team alerts, and the ability to save 10
when i use this unit with the home dock i can see the song titles from my bed (average sized room) i can't see the sports and stock ticker of course but hey when i'm at home i can pull up sports
this lag may be present on all radios, but i previously had a sportscaster which had no presets, just favorites.
compared to the sirius sportser 5 (also a new color lcd): i looked at them both closely and this expressrc's screen is far superior in brightness and clarity imo.
it also has the ability to show some sports scores and stock quotes which may be a useful feature.
having owned the inno for 6 months and using it at home, baseball games and in my car every day it grew annoying waiting for the graphics to load for the channel that you were trying to listen to
this looked like a better option especially with the split screen, three sets of pre-sets and the sports/stock ticker.
removed from its dock, the xpressr measures a slender 4.5 inches by 2.5 inches by 0.5 inch and sports a glossy black finish with silver plastic preset buttons.
