This is my first router ever bought and from reading about other routers, it seems that I've made the perfect choice picking the Belkin N+ I absolutely recommend! from Amazon.com I used the N+ to replace the Belkin N1 I was using. The range on the N+ is slightly better than the N1. from Amazon.com When I initially plugged in the router, it did connect to the Internet but I did not run the setup CD. I then ran the setup CD to use the quick defaults to setup a secure network. from Amazon.com I'm very happy with my N+ Wireless, the only complaint I have is that it didn't easily link with two of our wireless laptops. I had to call customer support. from Amazon.com I bought this router and an N+ wireless USB thinking I could have faster wifi. NO FASTER, unless every other device in my house on wifi can use WPA2. from Amazon.com I have a terrible problem with range - my DSL is located at one end of my older house and my office desktop is at the other end, with several walls in between. I have been using a Belkin Pre-N Wireless Router and a Hawking HWDN1 Hi-Gain Wireless-300N Network USB Dish Adapter in order to get reliable connectivity, and it is still marginal. When I decided to give my pre-N router to my daughter and replace it with the N+, I looked forward to the improved range. from Amazon.com I ordered this router from Amazon. It crashed during the installation (no lights). Amazon replaced it promptly with no hassle. from Amazon.com My old Linksys wrt54gx finally killed it self by overheating... so i didn't want to get another Linksys. The N+ was highly rated by CNET and also compliant with the ratified N standard. Out of the box very easy to setup for the average user. from Amazon.com First, a disclaimer: I've used several wireless access points/ routers over the past few years, and my general impression of all of them is that they suck. This is not a comment I make idly; I have yet to see one that you can plug in, configure, and never touch for the rest of your life. from Amazon.com After reading some reviews about set-up problems I was a little hesitant in buying this, as I'm not too technically proficient. I had good success with my Linksys router set-up, but since that unit turned into a brick I wanted to try another product, so I went ahead with the Belkin. from Amazon.com
