This is the second 1617 I have purchased because I liked the first one so well. I have other brand plunge routers but this one is the easiest to use. from Amazon.com As a router, this seems to be a fine tool. But it is incomplete, and Bosch won't stand behind their manual's information. I like everything about this router except the Plunge Mechanism is too stiff (and perhaps the position of the switch).
