Best Rice Cookers and Steamers With Warming Function for Quality

we purchased this rice cooker last week, and have used it twice for brown rice.

although the instructions say you can't make jook out of brown rice, i've found that i can if i'm willing to put extra time into it.

we use it for brown (gaba setting) rice, i never liked brown rice before, i liked traditional japanese white rice.

it's easy to prepare a cup of rice in the morning before i go to work and so satisfying to have the best brown rice when we get home.

so far i've made brown rice, several varieties of white rice, steel-cut oats (porridge cycle), and bibimbap.

what's great is that for a quick loaf, it won't heat up the whole kitchen.

pros: small footprint, proper capacity for two people, quick cooking function for those times where you're in a hurry.

havent tried brown rice with it though.

it cooks quite quickly and is not as soft as rice done traditionally on the stove but is very convenient and easy to use.

the only thing i've tried so far is brown rice with lentils: that came out perfect.i use cornmeal a lot, so i still have to try that one.

i've tried white and brown rice.

it cooks very quickly but the rice and steamed vegetables come out perfect.

i love the square shape, as it stores well, and the retractable cord is a nice feature.the cooker is fast!
