i use it to cook white or brown rice, the brown being my favorite.

it cooks quite quickly and is not as soft as rice done traditionally on the stove but is very convenient and easy to use.

the only thing i've tried so far is brown rice with lentils: that came out perfect.i use cornmeal a lot, so i still have to try that one.
