Best Rice Cookers and Steamers With NonStick Pot for Breakfast

i've done brown rice once and oatmeal half a dozen times and it's done flawlessly every time.

within half an hour of receiving my first unit, i had it unpacked, cleaned, read thesimple instructions, and had it set up for my first batch of long grain brown rice.it was cooked to perfection.

i wanted a rice cooker that could do brown rice as well as white.

so far i've had very good results with white rice, brown rice, red rice, steel cut oats and steaming vegetables.

i have been using my zojirushi ns-zcc18 ten-cup rice cooker now for more than a year and it has produced perfect brown rice every time.

it has settings for white rice, brown rice, sushi rice, and others.

so after buying this cooker, i read quickly through the manual and tried my first batch...it was perfect!

itself i see why.other thoughts: this device is a bit pricey, but if you are as particular about your rice, and plan to cook for your family or yourself frequently it quickly makes up for it!

it slightly overcooks brown rice.

so far i have cooked kohuho rose white and a korean brown rice and been very pleased with both.

summary: i recieved this cooker and immediately began cooking brown rice.

but, the annoyance of having to stick the faceplate back on every time i use the unit can really make you forget the good points pretty quickly.

stylus it look nice, it cook slow using quick cook, the pan is thin -not thick but better than the typical polymer in the past, it actually regular teflon coating.

the non-stick interior and the shield near the steam vent makes cleaning quick and simple.

cooks both white and brown rice very well.

yesterday i we had brown rice, extra firm tofu baked in a marinade in the oven, snow peas stir-fried with garlic and olive oil, fresh beets baked in the oven and beet greens steamed in micro-wave

i use it to make brown rice and other whole grain rice varieties and it has been perfect each time.

perfect brown rice is possible with this unit.
