I have now had 3 of these Black & Decker rice cookers and each one has broken down. It seems to blow an internal fuse and stops working. from Target.com Please dont buy this product if you plan on cooking for 2 or more people. Product description describes as 6 cup rice cooker, however each cup has a quantity of table spoon. This is very disappointing (cup size is much smaller than previous Black & Decker rice cooker I owned). I decided to buy this cooker because of brand quality and reliability but decided to return this product as it will not even feed 1 person even though it reads as 6 cup rice cooker. from Amazon.com 6 Cups is not a actual measurement, this is only a 3 Cup Cooker The box states its a 6 cup cooker, however the cooker is only a 3 cup cooker, its comes up a cup measurment which is not standard to the universal measurement of a "cup" its a measurement invented by Black and Decker. I called them to complain and the rep stated that this is a special measurement of a cup used by black and decker and the cup which they provide you in the box is supposed to be used to get the full 6 cups. from Amazon.com I am very impressed with this rice cooker. Many of the reviews for other brands were not very encouraging. I thought that Black and Decker has never let me down, so I gave it a shot. I measure exactly as directed on the instructions and the rice comes out perfect. from Amazon.com First of all, I must say that this is NOT a 20-Cup rice cooker. I was surprised by the size of this rice cooker when I received it as it was only slightly larger than my old 3.5 Cup rice cooker. from Amazon.com It works for a while then stops working, or just goes on warm. They replaced it three times--everytime it went out. This seems to be common with cheap rice cookers--see the reviews on the RIVAL RCS 200, they all go out within days or weeks!
