I can only assume that I purchased a defective Aroma 16-cup Cool Touch Rice Cooker, because I don't understand how anybody could rate this above two stars. I 'cooked' a small batch (four cups) of brown rice this evening. from Amazon.com It came out just right. It was not over cooked or still hard.
