It's 8 cup size is good for large families, but you can also make a smaller amount and it will come out just as well. You just turn it on, and in 30 minutes or so, it's ready. I recommend trying some other rices in here, like basmati or jasmine, the aroma from these will make your mouth water, and they are delicious. from Amazon.com After my old rice cooker died, I was considering buying an expensive Zojirushi cooker that uses an "induction" cooking system and costs upwards of $200, until I came across an Aroma rice cooker at a discount membership store that rhymes with Roscoe.
