I had an older Aroma model that always left about half of my rice stuck to the bottom - even when I used cooking spray. This model is great. from Cooking.com I bought this 6 months ago. It worked perfectly until it died a couple of weeks ago. Sure it has warranty, but you need a return number and paying for the freight, which would be great if the people in customer service at Aroma picked up the phone so you can get the return number... since they do not after holding for 20+ minutes in 3 different ocations I can only say - Do not buy this if you want something that will work! from Amazon.com I purchased this rice cooker as a gift for my 27 year old son. He really loves rice and "minute rice" just isn't real rice as far as I'm concerned. I have an Aroma rice cooker myself and thought the ease of the one-touch button system would be perfect for my son (and his room-mates). Two weeks after his birthday he told me the rice cooker was "a hit" in his house, and they use it constantly for all sorts of rice, Jasmine, brown, long grain, etc. from Amazon.com no problems at all and even brown rice cooks perfectly. from Cooking.com add rice and water in the pot and then throw your meat and vegetables in the tray, close the lid and press cook! from Cookware.com i use it to cook white or brown rice, the brown being my favorite. from Amazon.com for example, if you use one cup of white rice, you use one cup of water. from Amazon.com it's easy to use, uploading video or music is fast and quick. from Amazon.com i made steel cut oatmeal in it today. from Amazon.com i've just had this for a few days and made very good brown rice once. from Amazon.com
