Now that I've take the plunge and prepared a Chicken Marengo recipe I plan on tackling mashed potatoes and the brisket next. Cooking potatoes in 16 minutes, chicken pieces in 17 minutes and briskets in 40 is heaven sent on busy nights! My hope and plan is to use the Manttra Multi Cooker on average once a week this winter. I'm very excited I finally got the nerve to give it a try! from Amazon.com During the first use, cooker started smoking from the bottom, which I assumed was just manufacturing oil being burned off. The instruction manual is VERY LACKING though. It was not very clear, for some one that has never used a pressure cooker before.
