We were a little hesitant to buy this rice cooker because of the price. We eat a decent amount of rice, but not for every meal and not every day. Still, I thought it would be nice to try one with the induction heating, and we liked the Zojirushi website. Needless to say, I never knew rice could be this good :D Every type of rice was amazing. from Amazon.com we decided to upgrade our old standard Zojirushi rice cooker purchased at around $100 7-8 yrs ago. It is almost like rediscovering rice all over again. We like our rice a little bit more sticky so we add around 10% more water than what the measurements on the pot indicate and the rice turns out perfect every time.
