the best part is i can put all the items i want to steam into the steamer, set the timers (easy), press start and they all start at the appropriate times, so i don't have mushy veggies and hard rice. from Cooking.com i steamed chicken and vegetables and placed herbs in the herb tray and the food was delicious. from Sears.com i used it the first time tonight, and made steamed salmon using the recipe in the book that came with it with a couple of modifications, basmati rice with my usual herbs and spices, and baby asparagus from Amazon.com an excellent steamer with three separate compartments that can be set for different times so the veggies are all ready at the same time. from Amazon.com i can put veggies in one section, meat in another and maybe rice in the third. from Amazon.com i steamed several ears of corn in the steamer and they turned out great. from Amazon.com one krups small steamer for steaming oatmeal every morning and then this one. from Amazon.com if you thought steaming was just for fish and veggies, think again. from Amazon.com many times i use the drip from the vegetable to add to the blender to aid in the blending process. from Amazon.com works nicely, pretty fast : 10 to 20 minutes for most vegetables and fishes. from Amazon.com
