Best SANYO Rice Cookers and Steamers for Steel-Cut Oats

i have used a lot of rice cookers in my 17 years as a chef, but i love this sanyo rice cooker.

they were very impressed, as i was,with the sanyo's ability to cook rice to perfection.

i chose sanyo because i trust their products in general and their products are almost always priced right.

we purchased the sanyo rice cooker when it first came out because of the titanium rice pot.

over the past 30 years, i have used tiger, zojirushi, panasonic and other brand rice cookers and after a few months of using the sanyo, i like this one better than my prior rice cookers - the price

i picked the sanyo ecj-hc55s based on the positive reviews on amazon and because it came with a second bowl and lid.

the sanyo 3 1/2 cups rice cooker is perfect for us now.

the value of a rice cooker like this sanyo is that you can put in the rice & water, turn it on and walk away.

this is our second sanyo rice cooker and we love it!!!

for what it's worth, my favorite everyday rice by far is kokuho rose rice, which cooks perfectly in the sanyo.

having lots fun with my sanyo 5-c; in fact, i spend some time after awakening in the morning deciding what i will cook in it.

the sanyo ecj-f50s works flawlessly.

i thought i was missing it especially since i got a ripped box and ripped manual so i emailed and got replacement paddle from sanyo before i found the original one during recycling.

weaknesses: cooking time is a little bit long (about 45 min) summary: sanyo ecj-d100s is a very nice rice cooker.
