I have used inexpensive DVDs for years (many more inexpensive than these) and some Memorex as well and never had a major problem. I ignored the negative reviews and decided to try these anyway since it was a known and previously used (and somewhat respected) name brand. from Amazon.com I have been using these DVD+R's for over a year now and the only flaws I find are in my own files. I will continue to use this brand and this model of disc for the great price, quality and reliability. from Amazon.com Don't bother trying to use these DVDs with a Mac, they won't work. I foolishly bought two spindles of blank Memorex media - CDs and DVDs - and not a single disc in either pack works. I started with cheaper brands but always had problems with them completing the burn, but since ive started using memorex i have had no problems, i have found out that searching sales locally can be a better price then online. from Amazon.com I've gone through the recording of roughly 300 DVD's over the last three years, some for backing up the contents of computers, many more for very old films that will never be on DVD. I've tried several brands and I say you can't beat Memorex DVD+R as far as quality versus price. That's why I love these Memorex DVD+R 100 packs. For me, Memorex and Sony have always stood apart, but I'm not giving any of my money to a company (Sony) that secretly installed root kit software with their music CDs. from Amazon.com
