I've always had very good luck with memorex dvd's very rarely do I burn a coaster. Now some of my friends have horrible luck with them, some drives love them some burn alot of coasters with them. from Amazon.com Totally inconsistent with older style memorex +DLs that actually worked. As someone who has purchased too many Memorex dual layer discs I can tell you from experience that 50% of the discs in any given container (25s or 50s) will be defective. This is across multiple burners and computers, so it's not them, it's the media. from Amazon.com Every disc I have burnt so far has worked. The directions for these kinds of things always specifically tell you to turn off all other programs while burning a disc of any sort in order to ensure maximum success rate. from Amazon.com
