Best Remote Controls for Stereo System

the results were peace and harmony in the house and we can now fight over who has the remote just like we used to do when we had a standard tv with a seperate stereo system.

i have a tv that needs to go through a fairly complex sequence of commands to switch from internal speakers to using my stereo system.

i have setup a number of activities on mine: 1) watch tv (this includes a digital cable box, lcd hd tv and a stereo system for sound, 2) listen to cd (stereo only), 3) play games (wii system, lcd hd

anyway, this device can control everything from a dlp tv to your outdoor stereo system.

i also use this one remote for every tv and stereo system in my house.

the only difficulty i have had with it is consistently turning on and off the xm roady xt i have in my stereo system.

seems to include all the fuctions of products, even worked with a ten year old pioneer mini-stereo system.

it recognised my old stereo system without any problems.

ie: if i want to watch a dvd, this remote turns on my, switch box and sets it to #2, turns on my tv and sets it to component 1, turns on the dvd player, turns on my stereo system and sets it to aux
