the mc -36 is very well made like most nikon products my last remote cord the mc-20 is still working after four years of hard use and i believe the mc-36 will last just as long.
this device does seem expensive for what you get based on the quality of materials and the lack of strong user design.
it has more features than i really need but it is very well made and the remote wand is easy to use without looking.
for macro photography, this remote is a must for professional quality photos.

i am certain the logitech is a fine remote, but the reviews on the urc300 directed me toward it - simplicity in programming, reliable, and durable.
the urc remote is also easily strong enough to control the devices across a fairly large (20') room.
very sturdy construction and more than enough flexibility make it a very good (almost great) buy for the price.
its construction is sturdy and well-designed, however programming is not as intuitive as it could be.

of the remote goes up toward the screen, the overall thickness of the remote goes right down to almost nothing, which is a little worrying and i wonder about the overall durability of the design.

this remote has much more of a quality feel than the previous ones and the charging station is great (should also reduce the chances of it being left out for kid to step on it).
