in other words, it leaves tivo powered up all the time, with a reminder message to "make sure pvr is turned off." i created my own macro that performs a complete shutdown of all my equipment

i personally just setup a home theatre and have a stereo reciever, a cablebox with pvr, a dvd player, of course a television and i stream via itunes airtunes to the reciever for music.

key arrangement not that ergonomically pleasing to me.other thoughts: tried a lesser model first but needed pvr keys for a replaytv dvr among other components.
