The one I received is a Philips, 6 device, universal remote and it works great with my Magnavox TV but it is not the remote shown. I think I like mine better. from Amazon.com I have found codes for my Polaroid LCD HDTV and Pioneer DVD player with half of the keys operating and I was able to teach it the rest easily. Since it comes with two round shaped control panels just like that of Polaroid's, I recommend it especially for the TV. I bought a PMDVD4 several months ago and decided to purchased 2 more PMDVD6s at Amazon for future use. I purchased the first one as I had a new Magnavox LCD TV that would not respond to any the programming codes on 3 different remotes that I tried. The PMDVD6 also would not work with the code library supplied.
