I bought this to use with MediaPortal on a laptop which serves as an HTPC. It works well enough; my only complaint is that I wish it had one more button to give me more navigation control. from Buy.com This is a nice piece of gear! It is affordable and easy to use. from Tigerdirect.com Pros: play and pause, fast scan forward and back Cons: not at all capable of navigating well inside Itunes to make a selection (or of XP or Vista either). Other Thoughts: A big waste of money from Newegg.com Pros: Already has button presets included for many apps like Winamp. Different programs trigger different key maps for the buttons on the remote. from Newegg.com I bought this remote to control my home theater PC. I run a dual boot setup - XP and Vista. from Amazon.com Pros: This remote is exactly what I was looking for.
