Pros: Easy remote to set up, It has a good size, easy to see LCD screen. Cons: Cost Review: I purchased the Harmony 1100?after my Harmony 890 went bad?after only 14 months. from Shopping.com I used a Sony RM-AV2000 since 2000 and there were many shortcomings which I had to live with. a) Heft - Large and heavy. b) 4-way/navigation buttons were only mapped to touchscreen soft keys with no tactile feedback. It was difficult to navigate on-screen menus (keeping eyes on the TV) while keeping fingers over the right keys. from Amazon.com I recently purchased the Harmony 1100 touch screen universal remote and I am absolutely thrilled with it! With a regular remote it is easy to hold it in one hand and point it to you devices and select a function. With the Harmony 1100, it is easier to hold in two hands or at least with one hand right in front of you so you can see the screen. With my DirecTV DVR, Onkyo receiver and Sony Blu Ray receiver under my Samsung rear screen (close to the floor), my feet on my footrest make it more difficult to aim the remote while holding in in front of me. from Amazon.com Easy setup as with all Harmony Remotes. It changes channels on the tv on its on and at random times. When I called Logitech about the problem they tried to say it was Dish networks problem saying the dvr was not setup to recieve rf.
