Pros: extensive code library, flexibility, basic set up, price. Cons: menu based operation,?size, layout, advanced set up, range. The Bottom Line: Like all menu-based remote controls, this Prestigo makes control more complicated rather than easier. SRU8008 is very easily programmable to everything in my entertainment room. Maintains all the functions of my surround sound receiver, DVD player, DVD recorder, and television all in one single package! from Amazon.com One for the tv, one for the cable, one for the DVD, one for the Reciever etc... When it came it, I was expecting to lose some functionality of my controllers, but to my surprise, there was very little, and after a small tweak, none! Like many universal remotes, select what type of device it is, what brand and then hold down a button and it auto searches until it shuts off your device, and then it saves the code. I was able to link all of my devices to this remote and they worked great, even my Xbox 360! from Amazon.com I received a Panasonic headphones instead of the Prestigo Universal Remote. When I contacted the vendor (Midway) they said they don't have the item. from Amazon.com I ordered this remote to replace the one I lost that came with my Philips 42pf9630 television.
