The buttons are larger and that is a great help. Only works on 2 devices which is perfect for the TV & Direct Tv - sometimes simple is better. In the past we have purchased Sony remotes that do not work with the Dish system, we did not try this one on Dish, just Directv. One other note - the product description is incorrect - the remote is NOT 11" long - they must have measured the packaging. from Amazon.com My old Sony RM-EZ2 remote looked like this one except the Volume and Channel buttons were on the top and the numbers below.
