I bought two of these and both of them became dysfunctional in less than three weeks after the purchase. After the codes are re-entered in (usually after many attempts), sometimes it deprograms itself within half a second after you push either the volume or channel control. On a good day, the code might remain in the remote for a couple of hours. from Amazon.com
