Best Universal Remote Control Remote Controls for Reciever

there is really not much i would change about this product and it is a must have for anyone whose xbox 360 is a central component of their home theater.

it's great as i use my 5.1 system for dvd's and 360 so i want the av receiver to control the volume for those, but for the wii and a vcr tape, i want the volume control to be on the tv.

it was still necessary to go to the television or use the tv remote to switch inputs to switch from tv or vcr to dvd.

i mean, come on, if you have a remote to watch tv you can probably see, and you don't need a noise to let you know it is charging.

it also programed with my tv, surround sound, and dvd player.

i have gone through about 6 or 7 remote controls trying to find one that works on my older direct tv receiver.

i had to 'teach'it a few obscure functions, such as screen aspect (normal-zoom-wide) and mts sound (mono-sap-stereo) for the tv, but it is very easy.

this lets me leave the remote in the tv menu and control the volume on my amp and change channels as well as view the guide on my cable box.

i needed something to control my directv hd receiver, onkyo a/v receiver and the tv.

besides the great price and functionality, we chose this item because the layout of the remote is similar to our comcast cablebox remote and our other tv remotes, especially with the positioning and

this really is a great product; it eliminated 5 remotes from my tv room and allowed my wife to buy the cabinet of her choice--with solid doors and no components exposed.

the only problem i have had with this remote is that it won't turn on my tv, but it will turn it off, change channels, adjust volume, etc.

not a good remote for someone with a tv, surroundsound and cable box.

setup was a snap, and it controls my xbox 360, tv, and media center pc just fine.

that's why i find extremely useful the alphanumerical keypad included in this control, and it's also useful when changing tv channels.
