after i set it up for her tv(a little tricky), i used epoxy to disable everything except the power button, the channel up/down buttons, and the volume up/down buttons.
those products don't take into consideration those with bad vision, the elderly who just want a contraption to turn on their tv and get confused with all the other buttons (and can really mess up
it's really easy to use, especially if you are using it with a sony tv (it will configure itself automatically).
it's strictly for tv or a cable box, which is all a lot of people actually use.
