This makes popping noise every time it turns on, even when it's not running it makes crackling noise. from Amazon.com We called the manufacturer and they sent out a serviceman out - he said the noises are normal with this model, nothing to worry about. Well, just shy of 4 months after the purchase date, the compressor went. (I lost $200 worth of food that spoiled, which loss was not covered by the warranty.) After spending an hour on the phone, Amana finally arranged to send out another service person that day who determined that it needs a new compressor. (He compared it to buying a new car and finding out it needs a new engine after 4 months.) I called Amana and asked for another unit, as I have absolutely no confidence in this one. from Amazon.com Eventually you'll get to harder to crash intersections and the crash mode becomes somewhat of an addicting puzzler, trying to figure out how to get the gold. Each crash intersection takes about 1 minute to complete lending this mode of the game to the perfect portable title. Bottom Line: Is it fun?
