The wine celler seemed to work great for about one year. Then, like others have described, it stopped working and only makes a clicking sound. from Amazon.com It could not handle a warmer room (couldn't keep the temp I had set it at) but simply moving elsewhere solved the problem. I'm glad I got it on clearance and only spent $50, but I don't recommend it at any other price. I wonder if ANY of the smaller free standing units last, at least one that is affordable. Seems like most reviews complain they only last 6-18 months. from Amazon.com Unit stopped working after 18 months.
