Have owned this refrigerator less than a year and ice maker and water dispenser does not work. LG's solution is to unplug the refrigerator for 3 to 4 hours and see if that helps. Apparently this problem is not fixable. from Homedepot.com I purchased this unit last month and love the improved accessiblity over my old side by side. The dual freezer compartments make for easy access to all items. Also I originally bought the cheaper model, but the doors kept staying open so we traded up for this one the the auto door closer and it rarely works right so don't buy it for that feature.
