Works well in cooling mode, very quiet, just a slight fan sound. Much less than the noise produced by a typical computer. from Amazon.com Compact feature is great, but if you need to depend on it for a constant temperature, forget it. from Amazon.com This product i wish i know about it earlier than now....work like real fridge. I put in my room close to the warmer and make my work faster and less stressful. But the product I got was defective(not from Target.com I've used this for almost 2 years now. When I don't have my babies bottles in it I put sodas or juice for my older son and myself. I've even used it for cold snacks and other food that requires from Sears.com i have twins and all of our bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. from Target.com (her room is on the second floor) this lasts longer than other mini fridges. from Target.com i like this little mini. from Target.com i only have one small qualm and that is the handle which doesn't feel very sturdy. from Target.com the unit is small, portable, and easy to operate. from Amazon.com the drinks are colder in my little minifridge than in my full sized refrigerator. from Amazon.com
