Because of our cabinet size restriction, we had very imited choices of fridges available to us. LG had met all the features we were looking for. Door Ice Maker, Water / Ice dispenser with filter, and Humidifier controlled vegetable tray to keep vegetables crisp. from Homedepot.com I just bought this Refrigerator in July '07, and my wife, kids, and myself are very pleased with it. The digital readout gives an exact temperature reading for both sides, and is adjustable to suit our needs. Cons: Refrigerator compartment smaller than I thought, and stainless steel requires more care. The water dispenser worked for 2 weeks and has gone through repairs & 7 months later the fridge still doesn't dispense water. LG customer service is non-existent, they gave me numbers of techs to repair it and when asked why should customers be making these calls, I was told that's the way they do it. I love the 3 settings of ice maker with option of crushed and water dispenser, also good for the big parties for quick ice. Pro: If you leave the door open, it beeps every 30 second which can be annoying, but at least it's telling me close the door. The outside appearance is pretty (stainless steel) and inside has pretty decent size.
