i took a cheaper filter and installed it on the iceline so i can geat a longer life on the expensive filter and also get double the filtration for cleaner water.

i don't know if this is normal or can be fixed i'll let you know when i get it servced.

this model refrigerator has been ok since we purchased it in july 2004, however, it has just started making an awful humming noise and the ge technician just advised us the freezer fan motor needed
