Bought the unit in February of 09. Quit working in June. 2 months later, Onkyo does not have the parts in to fix it, on backorder. Unit works good unless it breaks, then I guess your done for. from Crutchfield.com This was an upgrade from the SR605. I wanted some more power for my tower speakers plus THX Ultra II and THX Loudness Plus for listening in quieter environments. from Crutchfield.com When I first powered up the Wii I could see the dashboard just fine but as soon as I selected the game channel, the video blanked. Games tend to flip in and out of actually visible video if they display at all. I ended up having to run the Wii directly to the TV's component input and run digital audio from the TV to the Onkyo. It works but you don't get the nice single HDMI cable running to the TV to get all your sources. from Amazon.com Well I am Poor! Saved for one year to buy this TX-SR806B and the speakers.
