I purchased the Onkyo TX 8222 receiver to replace a 25 year from Crutchfield.com You get more than what you pay for with this product. I use from Abt.com it was a great system with amazing sound, but the receiver was huge and maybe too powerful for our purposes. from Abt.com Purchased to replace an older unit hoping to solve FM from Circuitcity.com we don't have home theater or dvd etc so can't say anything about that but for a good basic stero system it fits the bill nicely.also has a 2 year warranty - unheard of anymore! from Abt.com i use my ipod with it and a pair of very good monitor audio speakers and the sound is very good. from Abt.com it sounds fantastic with my bookshelf-sized advent speakers, and gets excellent reception on local radio stations. from Abt.com i have the receiver hooked up to a pair of cambridge soundworks newton series bookshelf speakers. from Crutchfield.com it sounds very clear and crisp, and receives even the most distant fm stations with ease. from Crutchfield.com The ipod intergration for this unit is Ipod out to RCA jack from Crutchfield.com
