Just bought a Gigabyte T1028, and like most netbooks one of the best things you can do to improve performance is to upgrade the memory. This module is one of the ones listed as guaranteed compatible for the Gigabyte, and was very easy to put in place. from Amazon.com Pros: HP Mini 1000 isn't capable of DRAM speeds of 400Mhz since there are not any settings in the limited BIOS to change from the default of 266Mhz. Consequently though, this stick defaults to 4-4-4-12 timings...quite a nice surprise if you ask me. from Newegg.com Pros: Its Just RAM.
