This is a good way to incorporate colors, textures, and shapes into a fun way to learn. My daughter liked it a lot and I'm sure my son will use it too from Amazon.com We got this as a gift and I am now buying a replacement one as the original ones got soaked. We got them as a first birthday present and at first we used them as sturdy flash cards -tons of great first words are included from Amazon.com Now, there are 40 pieces total (20 two set puzzles). My only complaint about them is there are three of them that are "similar" - My daughter still gets confused sometimes between then. There is a Gray Mouse, Shiny Fish and Furry Mole - all three adjectives are gray in color.. so she will occasionally pick up the Shiny piece and match it with the mouse. from Amazon.com My three year old loves the puzzle.
