i still prefer the original, but this one is still worth the money.my only complaint is it seemed like i went thru this game much faster than expected.
when i bought this game i had a hard time with the controls, but when i got use to them i love the gun shooting and the surprises when it comes to this game.
it takes time to get use to the controls.
it is true that it has a short story mode but i highly recommend it for online multiplayer.
the only bad thing about the game is the shortness on each campaign.
mega man x revisted strengths: graphics, presentation, vile mode weaknesses: short, could have used more extras summary: mega man maverick hunter x is a remake of mega man x on the super
weaknesses: the game is short.
this game will get you going for about 3 to 4 times before you can put it to rest.
only thing i didn't like was that it's just x1 and since i mastered the original, it feels short.
though greatly portrayed, x's voice gets annoying after the first 10 times of using his special weapons, as he calls it out nearly every time.
it resembles the game releases on ps2, but at the same time, is so different.
however, this game has no replay value, and freezes up at random times during a mission :( it's also different than the first 3 lord of the rings games if you think it's going to be anything like that
- length - well let me say it's not a short game, but not a 40+ hour game either, you will get a good 15-30 hours out of it mattering how much you play and what you do.
because enemy and hero units move simultaineously, and it is simpler than most tactics games, it is faster paced than most as well.
each character is ideally suited for one specific purpose, but mastering the game requires knowing the right combinations of skills that will accomplish goals fastest.
great game strengths: game has great action and way better then any other psp game weaknesses: takes a long time to load but it is not so bad summary: i have many psp games but this one by
is still stupid as ever and the load times are still frustrating as with all psp games.
the single player in this game is very fun although i had a very very hard time with one of the missions towards the end.
decent time killer.
i play all the time( well any where there is a wifi hotspot.
i waited six months for this game to come out and from the first time i reserved this game i knew it was the best game for psp, that should of come out a long time ago.
i beat the game like 10 times.
in the first ps1 game, you could be a novice player and still make it through the game, each time you play making you better and better.
takes some time to get used to the controls, but once you do......it's metal gear and it's portable "thats awesome!
metal gear is a video game series that has stood the test of time better than alot of other video game franchises.
"the best way to accurately portray the type of gameplay found in gripshift is to say that it's a racing game that relies heavily on the short, obstacle-filled tracks and unorthodox platforming
it's got a large variety of suspended tracks with various objectives: a) race throught to get the fastest time, b) pick up all the stars and make it to the end before the clock runs out, c) figure
the tracks are all pretty short (until you get deep into the game) and they start to get pretty difficult, but the increasing challenge is not matched with an increase in complexity or
also, it can get boring after awhile, because car racing can't always hold everyone's attention for an extremely long expanse of time, especially if you keep losing.
in addiction to the crazy tacks you must complete in short times, you also have tons of fun mini-games to complete.
it can be a bit slow paced at times, but a complex and deep storyline filled with beautiful hand drawn cutscenes makes this a pretty emotional game.
it's pretty simple stuff and you'll be surprised at just how fast you can learn abilities here.
i've only played through the first few battles so far, but having beaten the ps1 game countless times, i've seen enough to notice a few differences.
after loving all of these games, i knew it was time to go back to final fantasy tactics.
there are certain jobs that you have to use early in the game or you'll die almost every time, and they don't make sense.
i picked up the game yesterday and have had a hard time putting it down!!
traveller's tales returns with another lego-based game, this time focusing on the indiana jones franchise after conquering the world of star wars.
on my psp 2000 load times are not so terrible.
short and simple.
figuring out what to do in order to advance to the next level is a fun challenge each time.
i thought it would have been like the ps2 version with the free roaming but the game takes you directly to your mission wich also is a major time saver.
strengths: interesting storyline weaknesses: short storyline summary: i think this game is good.
i had a trip and it was 3 hrs each way and i played the godfather the whole time!!!!!!
the only bad thing was that the story mode was kind of short but the missions were long.
strengths: short gameplay.
only thing i that made me not give it a perfect score is that the tracks are very short.
the graphics are great and its a fast paced game with pretty good framerate.
it may be simple, but you have to use l and r triggers at the right time to do the turns effectively.
this looks beautiful!" instead of traveling so fast you never really pay attention to others on the track, like f-zero, wipeout has you fighting it out neck to neck with your competitors to reach
gameplay: that silly analog nub takes getting used to as well as the 'timing' of the game, but after a short learning curve (and the initial levels are slow enough to facilitate this) the game gets
it is a little time consuming leveling up but other than that it is fantastic!
the story and characters can be somewhat childish at times, but the game is rated everyone.
i wouldn't play it a second time just because of the annoying factors mentioned above.
this means you can take your time and complete everything, or just play it straight through to the end--the choice is yours.
this game is part of a media blitz that took over japan some time ago, starting with a book and following with a manga series (sold here on amazon), an anime movie and more cool stuff.
awesome graphics and attacks, but the game was way too short.i mean way to short.
the story mode is a little short but it gets hard at times giving a fun challenge.
this game is amazing in every way, but the story is really short and is easy to beat.and you cant buy capsules to upgrade your guys .gogeta and vegito are individual characters so i thought that was
it has a new move called aura burst(allows really fast dodging) in the 4 player multiplayer is great
on a positive note, it's very fast paced, and the graphics are gorgeous.

can save multiple times..............lots of extras and unlockables 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.
and best of all, the game loads fast.
yeah, i still don't understand how it went down $15 in such a sort amount of time.
it's perfect for the psp since you can play it in short spurts.
you will have to backtrack but that's ok since each level has a warp staff that lets you travel back faster for a certain amount of magic.
not hard as in, wow, i finally beat that level, but hard as in, wow it only took me 30 seconds to die 5 times...
this is one of my favorite games to come along for a long time on any recent system.
i reached the "end" fairly quickly, but was then met with the series' infamous 2nd playthrough, this time with a new twist, requiring a thorough scouring of sections inadvertently glossed over during
review: i have been waiting for this game for some time, 11 years to be exact!
i just finished the game which on normal was a bit shorter than i thought it might be but getting to watch the end scenes and credits made it worthwhile to get through this edition.
i took my time with this game and beat it in 35 hours.
this game is kinda repetive and the story really doesnt make sense that much but it was a fun game and it took me along time to play so if u need a good rpg game for psp the crisis core is the best
back in the day however my brothers played final fantasy 7, and over time i caught onto the story and enjoyed it for what it was worth without playing.
if you grew up when pinball machines were everywhere then this game is for you ...it will bring back memories...i love this game...i am a big fan of pinball games and can't wait for more old time
this would normally be a very bad thing, but since the playfield is so small on the psp, it probably evens things out and gives you time to make more accurate shots so i don't mind it that much.
yes, the psp's screen is limited here and at times it is difficult to track where your ball is, however this is not the fault of the game.
the soundtrack is quite good, if a bit annoying, especially when you're spending a bit of time on a certain level and the same music keeps repeating and repeating and repeating, but otherwise it's
gameplay: it is a little bit short and a little bit easy, but in my opinion it is very fun to fight all those pirates.
it'll make you smile the whole time you're playing it.
it's a short game with only three worlds, and it's disappointingly easy, and even a novice gamer could go through it in a day or two without dying.
i keep tilting my psp as if it's a sixaxis controller, hoping that i can get a steeper angle and make those little rocos move faster (to no avail).
if you want a very sophisticated architectural design package that a layman can learn to use without being a math wizard, then take the time to learn how to use this product.
thanks amazon for shipping it fast and free.
a very fun game but u can only play so much at a time .
drive realy fast, pull off great moves, and destroying yourfoe completely plus ability to play any where( except church) takes the cake.
i would like to take this time to reaffirm everyones hopes.
twisted metal has been pretty much wickedly popular since it came out, most people loved it, at the time i despised it, but when i saw how it looked on the psp, i bought it.
it is fast paced and easy to play.
this game may get a little frustrating at times, but once you beat the game, it gets better.
it's not a completely new game, so it's good for passing the time on long trips.
first time playing psp version of gta.
so to make a long story short a must get for any gta fan and u not sure if u dont like it or not go rent it at blockbuster u can decide from there.
essentially, though, it's the same gta that we've played time and time again but who's complaining?
it was to funny because i had about 10 cops chasing me and they never caught me by shooting, only the helicopter.but one time when i was in a helicopter i jumped out {with a parachute} and landed
this time it is portable, which makes the hectic mayhem even better.
graphics are great, and there's lots to be done, so he won't be done with it in a week's time!
when i drive avehicle fast enough, i will run into some solid object and it won’t be visible until i hit it.
