300: March to Glory is my second "M" game for the PSP and I have to say that it is better than the first (the first being Silent Hill). The only reason I say that 300: March to Glory is better is that Silent Hill was too scary for me, and I had to sell it, so this is now my only "M" game.
When I first put this game in I wasn't overly impressed. After playing God of War, this game felt like a step back. While very little can match God of War, this game did end up being lots of fun to play. The game mostly takes place on the travels to the battle as portrayed in the movie.
Here is what I liked about 300 March to Glory for the PSP PROS:
Zack Snyder's big screen adaptation of Frank Miller's 300 was a smash hit, so naturally a video game adaptation seemed inevitable. 300: March to Glory follows Spartan king Leonidas and his small army of Spartan warriors as they take on the invading Persian army. While 300 features some great sound effects, music, blood effects, and overall style; it's ultimately empty in the gameplay department.
Naturally right after the blockbuster hit 300 came out there was a video game destined. 300: March to Glory came out almost as soon as the movie did so it was already set to be an iffy game for the simple fact it didn't seem like much time was dedicated to it. 300 is your basic hack and slash game to glory where you control King Leonidas as he fights with sword, spear, and shield against a Persian army of millions.
it is fun to have, but don't expect too much if you're a hardcore gamer.

good clean fun!
the game starts out fun at first but after some playing time it gets extremely repeptive and tiring.
a 2d scroll version probably would have been funner; but who would buy that?
