fortunately, konami decided it was time to give us gamers the whole "dracula x" experience by releasing rondo and symphony in the same package.
having been a fan of konami and the castlevania series since the original nes game, i more or less knew what to expect from the dracula x chronicles.
before i get into the game itself, i have to slap konami across the face not allowing people to play this game right out of the box.
most nes games (contra, another konami game, comes to mind here) stretched replay value by making games so hard that you'd routinely throw a controller out the window.
konami's classic castlevania series has had a pretty good track record in the portable gaming world, and the dracula x chronicles is no different.
excellent work from konami.
this is where konami dissapoints me.
however, konami produced a beautiful score, and the soundtrack is worth getting.
i sensed trouble right away when even the buttons to select options in the title menu were screwey (x, konami, not o) and things only got worse from there.
